Frequently asked

Is this open source? No — it's source-available under the AWFixer Source Available License v0.4. You can read and use it under the licensing terms, but some uses require a commercial license.

I'm a startup under 10 people — do I need to pay? No. You're covered by the Community tier, including limited production use, as long as you're not building a competing offering. If you grow past the thresholds you get a 180-day grace period.

Can I train a model on the code? Not under the free license. AI training/fine-tuning/distillation on the Software requires an Enterprise agreement. Ephemeral autocomplete on your own code is the only narrow exception.

Does the license loosen over time? Yes. Each version becomes more permissively available four years after release (the "Change Date").

How do I buy? Email oss@awfixer.me with your company size and how you plan to use Helctic, and we'll send terms.
